November Luncheon: Family Law

Our guest speaker for the November 17, 2015 membership luncheon is attorney Bruce Scott.  Mr. Scott concentrates his practice in Family Law and will give us a presentation on the Indiana Relocation Statute and then field questions concerning other family law related matters in general.

Mr. Scott is a partner at Helmke Beams, LLP in Fort Wayne.  He is a graduate of Valparaiso Law School and has been practicing since 1988.  He is a Registered Civil and Family Law Mediator and has served as attorney for the Adams County Dept. of Child Services.  He is a past Juvenile Chairman of the Indiana State Bar Family Law Section and currently serves as a board member for the Allen County Law Library, Canterbury School Finance Committee and for Homebound Meals, Inc.  Mr. Scott is also a member of the Masons and Trinity Episcopal Church in addition to being a proud resident of Whitley County.
