The ISBA will host a Wine & Canvas event for all Indiana paralegals on November 9th. Paralegals will have the opportunity to paint under the expert guidance of artist, Amy Barile of Teal Canary Art Studio, enjoy wine and light appetizers, and connect with other paralegals from various backgrounds. For more information, contact the Indiana State Bar Association.
Attorney Chris Baumgartner spoke to members this week about representation of indigent clients. Chris answered questions about Indiana Legal Services and gave insightful tips for working with indigent clients and the issues they face. Look for more details in NIPA's next newsletter.
Ice cream has a unique way of melting away inhibitions and creating an atmosphere of openness. Maybe it's the way we all indulge in our favorite flavors without a care in the world, or perhaps it's the comfort that a scoop of creamy goodness brings. Regardless, the casual and lighthearted ambiance of an ice cream gathering encourages people to share stories they might not otherwise have shared.
Thank you to those who attended NIPA's 2023 Ice Cream Social! If you haven't tried Sweets On Main, we highly recommend it!
Kind regards,
